STLFiles ("we", "us", "our") runs the website stlfiles.shop and sells digital STL file bundles. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, how we collect it, how we use and share it, the cookies and advertising tools we use (including the Meta/Facebook Pixel), and the rights you have over your data.

STLFiles is a digital storefront that sells downloadable 3D printing files. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can contact us about any privacy matter at support@stlfiles.shop.
Your purchased files. When you buy an STLFiles bundle, you receive a full commercial licence for the STL files: you may 3D-print the models and sell the physical prints you produce, and you may also sell, resell, share and redistribute the STL files themselves. This licence is also described in our Terms.

Cart-recovery & promotional emails. During checkout you may tick a box to consent to promotional emails. If you enter your email address and give that consent but do not complete your purchase, we may send you a cart-recovery email containing a secure link to finish your order. We use these opted-in addresses only for recovery and occasional promotional messages — never for unrelated purposes — and we do not collect a recovery email address unless you both entered it and ticked the consent box. Every promotional and recovery email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address, and we honour unsubscribe requests promptly. STLFiles uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, web beacons) to make the site work, understand how it is used, and run advertising. The main categories are:

Meta uses this data both as our service provider (to measure and optimise our ads) and for its own purposes as described in Meta's Privacy Policy. Where the data is shared jointly under EU law, Meta and STLFiles are joint controllers for the collection and transmission of Pixel data, and Meta is solely responsible for any further processing.

STLFiles uses industry-standard payment processors (Stripe and Wise) to handle all payment transactions. We comply with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements and do not store, process, or retain your full payment card details. All payment data is encrypted using HTTPS and processed securely by our payment providers.
Payment processors may use your transaction data to prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve their services as described in their respective privacy policies.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed below and only as needed to run STLFiles:
STLFiles is operated online and most of our service providers (including Meta and Vercel) are based in the United States. This means your information will be transferred to, stored in and processed in the United States and other countries that may have data-protection laws different from those in your home country.
Where required by law (for example for visitors in the EU, UK or Switzerland), these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

STLFiles is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EU). If you are under 13, please do not use the site or send us any personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, contact us at support@stlfiles.shop and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" and "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will make a clearer announcement on the site. Your continued use of STLFiles after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
